High Voltage Technician/Electrician (Full Time Permanent Basis)

We are currently seeking driven and committed High Voltage Technicians/Electricians who strive to be the best they can be though continuous improvement and join our team.

About the Role:

• Most weeks you will be required to work away from home Monday-Friday
• Mackay based – FIFO/DIDO will not be offered

Your duties will include:

• High voltage commissioning and testing;
• High voltage maintenance;
• Transformer assemblies
• Transformer oil filtration
• High voltage repairs;

To be successful for this role, you must have:

• Trade Certificate (Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician);
• QLD Electrical Work Licence (Electrical Fitter Mechanic);
• LVR & CPR;
• Standard 11 Induction (desirable);
• Coal Board Medical (desirable);
• Manual Drivers Licence;
• BMA Core Induction (desirable);
• MSIC card (desirable);
• High voltage switching ticket (desirable);
• Proven experience in the high voltage industry (desirable);
• Previous experience using Omicron test equipment (desirable);
• Site specific inductions (desirable);
